This year, there are several ways you can join us for the 4th annual Jersey Shore Rescue Mission 5K Race!

1. Join us IN PERSON, on the boardwalk in Asbury Park for our 5K Race, 2 Mile Walk or Kids Fun Run on October 30!
2. Join us VIRTUALLY through our Virtual 5K and walk or run your 5K anywhere in the world between October 29 - 31!
3. Join our Mission to Mission CHALLENGE and take on a goal above and beyond our virtual 5K! Choose either 100K or 100 Miles to complete between October 1 - 31!
Proceeds from the event will support the programs of the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, a non profit organization which ministers to the homeless, hungry, and those struggling with addiction in the Asbury Park area by meeting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through a structured program which enables them to lead responsible, productive lives. Each year, through the support of the community, the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission provides:

  • 25,000 meals
  • 9,500 nights of shelter
  • $30,000 worth of goods through a Coat Giveaway, Thrift Store Vouchers, Project Backpack and other community aid

Graduates up to 60 men from the Life Change Recovery Program in partnership with Market Street Mission

We encourage you to show your support for those who are striving for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction and help provide the necessary programs and resources for those in need in the community.
