MINISTRY INTERN: ROBERT KENNEY

Robert Kenney knows the grip of addiction firsthand and the greater power of God’s restoring grace. A graduate of The Colony of Mercy in 2015, Robert now serves full-time at America’s Keswick as the Director of Partner Care, where he leads donor engagement efforts, mentors residents, and ministers to guests and ministry partners through prayer, encouragement, and gospel proclamation.
Robert’s growing pastoral heart is shaped by a deep love for God’s Word and a conviction that Scripture is central to genuine life change. Whether in one-on-one conversations, small groups, or public teaching, he seeks to faithfully handle the Bible and apply it practically so that lives are formed by both truth and grace.
With a heart for discipleship and outreach, Robert has previously served in a variety of ministry roles at another local church, including leading recovery-focused outreach efforts, organizing community evangelism initiatives, teaching small-group Bible studies, serving as an usher, and joyfully ministering in children’s ministry alongside his wife.
In addition to his work at America’s Keswick, Robert regularly preaches in local churches and gives ministry presentations that testify to the transforming power of Christ. As a Ministry Intern at Colts Neck Community Church, he is eager to grow under pastoral leadership and to serve the congregation with faithfulness, and teachability.
Robert and his wife, Michelle, are raising their four children, Levi, Sophia, Jonathan, and Grace. His life and ministry are marked by gratitude for God’s mercy and a sincere desire to help others grow in grace and truth.
