ASSOCIATE PASTOR OF YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS: KERRIS ACKLEY 

For the Glory of God, we go! (Psalm 115:1) Kerris, a sinner saved by grace, came to faith in Christ in College from seeing the Love of Christ displayed in the community of Gods people from his Campus fellowship in Pennsylvania. He knew his pastoral call while at Penn State University as a Pastoral missionary.

Seeing Christ Jesus transform hearts, through the work of the Holy Spirit bringing sinners from death to life, and simply getting to serve and be apart of that Discipleship, is worth everything and more! 

Kerris married his wonderful best friend Dina in December of 2022, and so their lifelong adventure starts!

If you can't find Kerris with the youth at CNCC, or the Young Adults at Rooted, he is probably at the beach reading or playing sand volleyball, playing strategy board games with his wife & friends, or cheering on those birds from Philadelphia.

Kerris was the Youth Director at First Baptist Church of Redbank in from 2017 to 2021, as well as the Bible Teacher at Calvary Christian School at the same time. He started and lead a Young Adults ministry at FBC until being called to Colts Neck in the fall of 2021. Kerris was ordained for full time ministry June 21st, 2023.

Kerris has his Masters of Divinity and his Masters in Sports Administration from Liberty University.
